CARIS BASE Editor
The Center for Higher Learning (CHL) is pleased to offer CARIS BASE Editor training at Stennis Space Center. The two and a half day course is for anyone wanting a more in-depth knowledge of CARIS BASE Editor and to learn more about importing, validating, compiling, analyzing, and extracting bathymetric data. Participants will explore the use of the CARIS BASE Editor in the processing and preparation of bathymetric datasets. The course uses presentations, discussions and demonstrations, and hands-on practical exercises.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with operating computers and software, basic knowledge of hydrographic concepts and terminology, and experience with bathymetric data.
Dates and times:
We are offering (2) 2 1/2 day sessions during the week of March 11 - 15, 2019 as follows:
Session 1 - March 11 - 13, 2019: Mon. and Tues. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. / Wed. 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Session 2 - March 13 - 15, 2019: Wed. 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. / Thurs. and Fri. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
$600.00 per person (per session)
