Pearl River Community College Associates Degree

Pearl River Community College is among the oldest community colleges in the south and is the pioneer junior college in the state. It is an open-admission, community-based, comprehensive institution designed to provide economical and quality educational opportunities to local residents.

The Associate in Arts Degree Program is designed to provide a variety of educational experiences which acquaint the student with the liberal arts disciplines of writing, mathematics, humanities and fine arts, science, social science, communication and physical education. In general, academic students intend to transfer to a university to complete their Bachelor degree.

PRCC offers academic classes at the John C. Stennis Space Center each semester, usually 4:30 – 7:30pm one day per week. Call Keith Long at 228-688-7662 for more information on admission and registration procedures.
