Master of Engineering (MENG)

General Engineering or Military Engineering

The Master of Engineering (MENG) is a professional degree designed for students seeking a non-specific discipline degree in engineering who do not normally have access to traditional degree granting programs at the graduate level. No “core” courses are required as part of the M. Eng degree program.

The primary objective of this inter-disciplinary program is to allow professional engineers to pursue a flexible graduate degree in a web-based format. The program will uphold the same rigorous academic requirements as programs offered on the Mississippi State University Campus.

Students choose between a General Engineering or Military Engineering concentration and a thesis or non-thesis option.
