IT Training and Certification Courses

The Center of Higher Learning works with several national IT training companies to provide high-quality computer software training in one of our two computer labs at the Stennis Space Center.  Many of these classes lead to IT certification.  Stennis Space Center employees can receive a substantial discount for some of these training courses as well. 

Some examples of this training include Microsoft Office; Introduction to Linux; Introduction to Python Programming; Python Data Wrangling; and Data Visualization with Python.  Certifications in CompTIA classes are also available in such topics as Security+, A+, and Network+.  There are many more similar IT training classes that can be made available upon request.

CHL also works with our local oceanographic and hydrographic communities to offer classes in such software packages at HYPACK, SonarWiz, and ESRI Caris Base Editor and Hips & Sips.
