Pearl River Community College Associate Degree

Pearl River Community College is among the oldest community colleges in the south and is the pioneer junior college in the state. It is an open-admission, community-based, comprehensive institution designed to provide economical and quality educational opportunities to local residents.

The Associate in Arts Degree Program is designed to provide a variety of educational experiences which acquaint the student with the liberal arts disciplines of writing, mathematics, humanities and fine arts, science, social science, communication, and physical education. In general, academic students intend to transfer to a university to complete their bachelor’s degree.

PRCC courses can be offered in-person at the John C. Stennis Space Center when a sufficient number of Stennis-based students are interested.

Please contact Keith Long at 228-688-7662 for information on PRCC admission, registration procedures, or inquiries into arranging for in-person Stennis courses.

More information on Pearl River Community College degree requirements and additional course listings can be found by browsing the PRCC website at http://www.prcc.edu or by calling the PRCC Hancock Campus at 228-252-7000.
